The wait was killing me. If I failed to put up a good fight I’d be sharkbait, but somehow I had to fail or I’d lose my last chance to get home to my family. Life as a pirate captain was ugly, but a necessity. I fell into the role quite by accident. It all started on a mission to rescue the King’s treasure from pirates on the island of Tentila, seven years ago…
