  • Philip E. Carroll says:

I thought it was funny that Tee Morris expounded how he would not write a critique of Twilight because he had never read the books of seen the movies and was therefore not qualified to give a review…and then he gives it a negative review and calls it, “two hours of angst”.

I won’t write a reveiw on it either, though I did sit through the first movie, on dvd, with my wife and daughter, other than I thought the special effects could have been better.

    Just saying…

  • Tee Morris says:

Huh…I never looked at it that way.

You’re right, I suppose I did give a quick review…or would it be more of an opinion. It was an opinion based on the trailer which is supposed to make me want to go to the movie. Based on the trailer, I got “angst.” It’s a bit like the show Angel. I tried it, kept on trying to watch it, but when I would see what was coming up next, I just couldn’t handle the heaviness.

I guess what I define as a review is going deep and getting into the details. Something I can’t do with Twilight. Maybe the book is different. Could be. But I just don’t get into the vampire stories.

Still, thanks for calling me out. Keeps me honest. ;^)
